Pastoral
Associate:
Lani Vandehey
12-21-07
Ever since the Catholic
Church won my heart and mind, half of my life ago, I have been devoted to
knowing and living this Christ centered life.
This
devotion has led me into many different undertakings; from teaching
religious education to leading RCIA, to Eucharistic ministry, to youth ministry,
funeral and
bereavement ministry, marriage preparation and service with St.
Vincent De Paul, to administration, even leading the liturgy and singing
(with very questionable results!)
I have
sought to learn and study to better know and serve in the areas I have been
called. There has hardly been a class or workshop offered by the Archdiocese
that I haven’t participated in.
Coming to St. Anthony’s community has been the hi-light of this journey. I
never could have imagined such a vibrant, open and welcoming community. I
even moved to Forest Grove to be closer. I am continually touched by the
generosity and creative talents that are offered and shared here. I know God
is alive, because I see him work here daily.

Business
Manager:
Sheila Young
12-21-07Sheila
not only takes care of the accounting here at St. Anthony's, but also is the
Facilities Manager. She works with many dedicated parishioners to be
sure our building is functioning.
In her time away from St.
Anthony's, she is an avid horsewoman. She and her husband love
traveling south of the border into Mexico for time in the sun and on the
beach. |
Michelle Tunnell:
Administrative Assistant
05/12/2008
A native Oregonian, Michelle is
trilingual. She speaks fluent French and Spanish and has studied in both
France and Spain. She is excited to be able to assist the Hispanic ministry
with her language abilities. Her interests include travel, classical music,
corresponding with overseas pen pals, and discovering new Mexican
restaurants with her husband. You may catch her singing Mozart opera
arias when no one is around. She is a Women of Faith fan and maintains that
the fact that her married last name rhymes with her first is undeniable
proof that our Lord has a sense of humor. Her prayer is to be salt and light
as she serves the St. Anthony community.
