Please pray for Amanda as she is having the last reconstruction surgery on her lip Oct 1st. Please pray that it be a success, and that she have a speedy recovery.

Our son Eric has had 6 surgeries on his knees over the past 2 years to relieve tremendous pain caused from misaligned knee cap and lack of cartilage between the bones. The last specialist said that he has no idea why Eric is in so much pain and that he can not do anything more for him. We have found a specialist that works specifically on the knee. Eric will see him Monday to find out if this doctor has any idea on what to do to remove the pain in his knees. Eric is 22 years old and walks with a cane, hunched over like an old man, hobbling as he walks. He can barely move at times and is on heavy meds to help with the pain. He has not even driven but maybe 2 times in the past 3-4 months due to the pain. He is truly homebound. I have been unemployed for 1 year and have no insurance. We are getting to the last of our options, which are few. They will not do knee replacements as Eric is too young and needs to wait until he is in at least his forties, that is 20 years more of debilitating pain. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN. This is what Jean and I ask: **** Please Pray that the Lord will give the Doctor the Wisdom to know what is wrong with Eric’s knees, how to remove the pain, and get Eric back on his feet. **** As my mother, Jewell, used to say “Storm Heaven with Prayers” and that is what we are asking you to help us do. Please pray that the CT myelogram I am scheduled to have tomorrow, Friday Sept. 11, will show the neurosurgeon what is wrong with my lower back, and that he will be able to help me. Not sure of the future medical plans, but please pray that the doctors have the wisdom to help him, and if it's your will, that Adam be cured so that he can live a healthy life with his family.

I have an interview for a job coming up on Tuesday 8/25. I have been out of work since January and if I cannot get employment locally, I will have to take a job overseas in Kuwait for a year, separated from my family. My husband is going to court on the 14th. Because my husband is on Parole they are trying to send him away for along time. He is a good man and father and has been the whole time since his release. He has my support, neighbors friends and family that know that he is a good person. He was trying to help his Mom (who is addicted to pain killers and cannot remember things that she does, she had hidden a gun in her car without his knowledge and he was driving the car) Now they are trying to revoke him and make this a Federal Charge. This is so mixed up and We do not have the money for a private attorney and can only depend on Public Defender; We have a 4 yr old daughter we both love him very much. He has been a wonderful husband and father, We need him here with us. Please Pray for My Husband, our baby and myself, that the charges against him are dropped, dismissed or otherwise done away with. I hope that you will please pray for us.

Please pray for my sister, Nikki, she has had a heart attack they put in stints and it looks like they might have failed. They are going in on Wednesday of this coming week to see what is going on, either it is clotted around the stints, or stints failed, worse case scenario is heart by-pass. Please pray it is not the worst and and will be something that is easy and my sis can recover fully and be in good health. She is such a good person.

Dear Brother/Sisters in Christ Jesus, Greetings to you! I have come to you with a never ending sorrow in my life. I am from Bangalore. I had brother who was saved miraculously in a heart attack when we went to Delhi in December 2008 and the same brother was killed in a cruel road accident just 9 days after my marriage. (My marriage – 18th April 2009 and my brothers death 27th April 2009) Now one more trouble in my life…….and that is my husband. He talks and behaves abnormally. He will tell something and within few minutes he tells that he has not told that and call us a liar( Me, my mom and my dad). He is very cruel to me. He tries to suffocate me to death at times. I had to scratch him or hit to save myself and I used to run out of my room. He also suspects me a lot. All the time he keeps telling that I have affair with other men and I should marry some one else. He also keeps telling that he will leave the house and go and does carry his baggage to leave home. On Sunday we thought will talk to his family members. (He does not have parents but has 4 brother and 4 sisters). We called his brother – in – law (elder sisters husband) home. This man brought his wife and my husbands 2 more sisters. We called them home and instead of finding out the solution they started abusing me in vulgar language. They were almost all the bad and vulgar words in Tamil. · The told my mother that my brother had died due to our sins. · They called me a prostitute · They told my mother that she runs a brothel and has me a prostitute · My husband also told that me and my parents are liars and he is innocent. But the Lord knows the truth. He keeps telling me to swear on the bible all the time. To prove that I am innocent I did swear once. But when asked him to swear he never does. · He gives a wicked smile as me when no one is looking and then suddenly changes his looks like a innocent guy when people look at him. · He tells me that “He wished I come a handicap, so that I will depend on him”. And we I told this statement to his family members he says that I am lying. · One day when I had stomach ache and was at home, he sympathized with me in the morning and in the night he is pressing my stomach so hard and says “So you have stomach pain, all drama”. I was crying in pain but he was deaf to my cries. · His sisters used vulgar words on my mother. They were telling “Vaadi” and other words which one cannot hear. They were standing in front of my house and shouting/screaming and telling my neighbors’ that we are prostitutes. · They called my husband and this man also took his clothes and walked off. · My mother told him that he can come home anytime. But he said he will not come. · My mother also requested that he should and stop lying for which he rudely said “I will not change ask you daughter to change” · When my mother questioned him on why his sisters are using such abusive/foul language then he said that they never talk such languages and we are only blaming them. The proof is the whole neighborhood heard this foul language of his sisters. · They also said that it is Good that my brother died. · The language is so bad that no decent person can hear those words. Brother, Jesus knows the truth. Your can see the truth when you pray on behalf of me to the lord. My family is already in state of shock and sorrow after my brothers death. And it is just 2 months of my marriage. My husband left me and went. 1. I have my parents who are old (my father is 74 and my mother is 69). I have my sister in law, widow with 2 small children. 2. Where do I go? 3. With these people creating such a big scene in front of my house, how do we leave in that area? 4. They made us put down our heads in shame. 5. How could my widowed sister walk out of the house? 6. How will my parents be able to cope with this disgrace? (That had two children, out of which one died and the other has lost her life due to the cruel man) 7. What is my family’s future? 8. Will things get sorted out and could we leave a normal life? My marriage was settled with great difficulty. I was married at the age of 34. The only mistake we did was we did not check the boys family background. The language is so bad that no decent person can hear those words. The elder sister of my husband used foul language and called my mother a prostitute. His younger sister who also shouted and yelled on the road abusing us using the dirtiest words. She said that she will everyday to my area and abuse us everyday so that we die of disgrace. She also threatened that she will come to my office and abuse me. We are not getting any justice anywhere. Only Jesus knows the in and out of this incidents happening to me and my family. My brother was a strong man in the family and big support of pillar for us. Since he passed away people are trying to take advantage of our condition as there is no one to protect us. Brother, Please pray for me and my family. I beg you to “Talk to Jesus” in your prayers and check with him who is wrong. I also agree that I too did some wrong but not to such an extent. And I accepted that mistake in front of everyone and asked pardon with Jesus. Brother, Please, Please I humbly BEG YOU to talk to Jesus and tell him my conditions. Please ask him to help me and come out of this difficult situation. Also ask Jesus whether we were wrong or not? Brother I am in a position where I can neither die or live? If I die who will look after my old parents and widow sister in law and her kids. If I live what will the society call me? And with the disgrace happened to us on Sunday will people look at us as cheap woman? I am scared and worried. I don’t know whom to call for help? They are threatening us as well. Please pray and save us from these wicked people. Why these untoward incidents are happening in my family after my marriage? Once a happy family is now like a grave full of sorrows? Has any evil spirit entered my house? Can someone come home and pray for us to and get the evil spirit away? Pray that my husband reforms and comes back to me. Regards Anitha

Very upset about this boy (My brother’s son). Since last 7/8 years he is troubling us. Till date he is like this only. Day by day our problems are increasing. He is not allowing parents to open their mouth. If they tell something he is saying I am going away. Everyday coming late in the evening. I have tried many times to take him for the retreat. I have brought him to Mumbai with the intention to take him for the retreat, but not succeeded. He is not talking to his father. Being a B.Com graduate, studied in ICSE (Delhi board) he is not interested in working and that is why recently started a small business and in that also he is not taking keen interest. Nothing is coming to my mind.

Please pray for Mark for a full recovery from a fall where he broke several ribs and punctured his lung.

Please pray for all our priests, especially Fr. Bill, that God's grace be with them and that they know they are loved.

Please pray for Don as he has not received a diagnosis for his persisting pain even having had many tests from the Doctors.
