The Meals For Our Community Ministry has been around, but very quietly.  We would like to let everyone know it is here!  We provide meals to those in our parish community who need a bit of relief, whether recovering from surgery, childbirth, illness, or feeling overwhelmed by life!

One can participate as a provider, a recipient, or both! Learning to live in community means not only giving help to others in the community but equally learning to lean on your neighbors in the parish when needed.

We Need You!  Over 30 St. Anthony's parishioners are ready to prepare and deliver meals to fellow parishioners in need.  Would you like to join our team of cooks?  Would you like to help coordinate meals?  Please contact Claudia.

Do you need some help with meals?  Call or email Claudia!

Have you been served with meals from our ministry?  We'd like to post your thoughts here on this webpage.  It might help someone in need to have the courage to call us!  Email webmaster[at]stanthonysforestgrove.org.

As a parishioner at St. Anthony’s I have been blessed to be a part of a wonderful and caring community.  I have often referred to our parish as our extended family since our relatives live in Colorado.  I was undergoing a strong treatment for my thyroid that had me weak and homebound during a week last spring.  It was so heart warming receiving meals that week from parishioners and since I could not attend mass at church, it meant so much to me to still be able to see some of the faces I am so use to seeing on a weekly basis.  I felt that although there had been a change in my schedule and weakness in my health, St. Anthony’s was still there for me and my family….it is a constant and forever a blessing to be a part of.   Since then I have made a meal for someone in need and it fills my heart with joy.  God Bless, Audrie
